Distance Learning, schools, tuition, etc?

Was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on which accredited distance learning colleges/universities are available and which are the "best" based on these criteria: 1. Sophomore HS Dropout / GED Recipient 2. Business Major 3. Quality education while not Harvard priced. (Why not go to Harvard if I'm paying the same price? :D) I checked into Axia / University of Phoenix and with my work discount tuition would be about $20,000 for an Associate of Science in Business Management. Just exploring some more options before I commit to it. Also, if anyone knows of a community/forum where I could go to get some good information on this subject, I'd be very appreciative! I'm still looking but I've yet to find one. Thanks in advance.

  1. I must admit bias - I was in the same boat as you. I now attend Strayer University and I am very pleased with the level of education I am receiving. They have many campuses, as well as an online school where you may take classes synchronously or asynchronously. They offer excellent Financial Aid. I'm an IT major but they are a business school. They let you CLEP or take Life experience credits, if you qualify, which can help you gain credits quickly. Also, if you attend their Open House, they generally waive the admission fee (sometimes other fees as well) Good Luck If I find a forum, I'll post it, but for now:
