How is it to go from a bachelors degree in social work to a masters degree in psychology?

As opposed to a bachelors in psychology to a masters in psychology. How much longer does it take? I hear some people do this.

  1. Maybe a couple classes longer. You would likely have to take some psychology courses to fill in the gaps. How long it will take depends on the requirements of your school and the major. You might be able to take Summer courses to catch up.
  2. I don't imagine it'll be any different, but better ask admission counselor. I went from Business Administration BA to MA in Psych in no longer time frame than those with undegrad. in Psych. So every school is different.
