Distance Learning Programs (US)?

This question is two-fold (or maybe tri-fold...) I am moving overseas to teach ESL and depending on how things go, I may be gone for good. I am interested in receiving an MA (possibly a PhD down the line) TESOL and also an MA in English Lit. I'd like to do this as distance learning from an accredited school in the US. I'm not really interested in places such as Pheonix or Walden. I want a real school, with a real campus, just because I feel more comfortable with the education I'm receiving. 1. Does anyone have any suggestions on schools to investigate for Distance Learning MA TESOL? 2. Is it possible to earn a direct PhD TESOL without first earning your MA, or earning it in the same program? Any good distance school reccommendations for that? 3. Also, I've done some research, but I haven't been able to hunt down a distance learning MA English Lit from a "real" school. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  1. Most colleges who teach MA english through distance learning are not based in the US. If you would like to know about other schools such as in UK and canada RSVP.
