Around what grade do you think I need to have to get a master degree in Business? My GPA is 2.5 for degree now

- Though my graduate degrees are not in business, graduate schools tend to rank the same across the board. Usually the lowest possible GPA you can have for entrance into a graduate program is a 2.5, midrange is 3.0. However, your personal statement, sample of written work, GMAT or GRE score, and letters of recommendation will all factor into your admission. You can find out how each school weights each category by contacting the graduate advisor in the program. Best of luck!
- I don't know of any decent programs that will take a GPA that low. Even if for some crazy reason they say that's the minimum, they still want someone with decent grades. Especially for an MBA! You will either have to work REALLY hard to get an okay GPA, or go for something that's more on your level. There aren't many reputable schools that will take less than a 3.5 for graduate study.
- MBA programs do consider college GPA, but if you have a high GMAT score and have had an impressive career for 5 years with increasing responsibility for people and budgets, you would be considered with a 2.5 at all but the top 15 schools. If you don't have those other credentials, you need to really think about if it's worth it to go to a program that will accept you. There are many useless MBA programs. Look at starting salaries and the jobs of recent grads.
