  1. Online MBA programs miss the most essential element of the MBA--the interaction and teamwork between students. I would ONLY take an MBA program that is offered through a program that also has a physical campus, and state schools are often the most cost-effective choice. Another benefit of the MBA program is the alumni network--does the school have an active alumni outreach? Also, what is the placement record of the school? The best major is the best for you. I could say accounting but if you don't like accounting, obviously that won't work. Marketing is good if you take the rigorous statistics classes that go along with it, as that is the most valuable aspect of marketing.
  2. There are many colleges and universities that offer online degrees, and more specifically, many that offer an MBA program. Before you choose a program, I recommend you make a list of schools that offer programs in this area (check links 1 & 2). From there, compare the costs of each program, and consider your budget. Next, be sure that your school is accredited (check my 3rd link). Be sure that programs you're looking into not only are entitled what you want (ie international business and/or marketing) but also offer specific coursework that you find appealing. If you're going to spend money on an advanced degree, you want to be sure that you aren't 'bored' with the program itself! Good luck!
