I have been offered admission to UQ and USyd for Masters degree in Business. Which uni should I go to?

I'm not Australian so I would appreciate your comments about perceived overall quality of U Queensland (UQ) and USyd (Sydney). I understand both are very good but I wonder if, for the purpose of earning a degree in Business (to be used later for employment in Australia), one is more "recognized" than the other. I know there is a lot of subjectivity to this but your opinion would be of great help. Thanks!

  1. Both Uni's are regarded very highly and neither would give you an advantage over the other. I would decide purely on lifestyle choice. That is where would I rather live? Where are my family situated, my friends, etc. A masters degree is quite demanding and the moral support that can be obtianed, or just the steam that can be let off being surrounded by those close to you. If you have a family of your own then you may also require the extra "hands on" assistance of those close to you. I remember studying for my MBA whilst working full-time and raising a family - if I wasn't close to my family and friends, I'd never have made it!
