Can you suggest a short story, creative writing or children's fiction distance learning course?

I just fancy doing something over the summer between the last 2 years of my degree. I can't do Open Uni, due to start dates. It has to run for a maximum of 12 weeks, distance learning only. I've looked at the writiers bureau etc all their courses are too long. Nothing too advanced or competitive, but I'll appreciate all sensible suggestion. any suggestions?

  1. Where are you from? In Australia:- OTEN has a short story writing course. It's distance education - they give you a year to finish but if your committed you could get it done through summer. See their website for details.
