- I just started my third year of distance learning, and love it. While I have assignment deadlines, and minimal times I must post a response each week, I can work according to my schedule, work ahead of time on assignments, and plan out my upcoming weeks. While going for my AA, I was taking 2 classes every 9 weeks. Now I am going for my BA, and it is 1 class every 5 weeks. It does get hectic at times, but with working FT, dealing with a husband, kids and grand kids, it all comes down to time management. Good Luck!!
- You are absolutely right! Before making such a major move, it’s always important to understand what it’s all about, and the pros and cons dealing with it. I don’t have much experience with it but some friends are doing it and have referred to me a good online resource where we can get all about advantages of distance learning. Take a look at http://www.distance-learning-college-guide.com/advantages-of-distance-learning.html it gives much of the information about distance learning education including some good information about MBA colleges and courses. Hope this helps. Best of luck for your future!!
- I took a distance learning seminary class. The advantages include: 1) You do all of it at your own home. 2) No classes to attend. Just listen to tapes and read. 3) You don't have to dress a certain way or look a certain way. 4) No prejudice about your looks or speech, etc. 5) Work at your own pace, as long as you finish the class on time. 6) You can study when it's convenient for you, wherever you want. 7) It's flexible for if you have other responsibilities, like child care or a job. 8) You don't have discussions with other students, if you dislike that. 9) No group projects. 10) Good for independent workers. 11) The grade you get is what you earned. You aren't affected by bad behavior or work of other students.
- There are many advantages like lower costs than attending a full time course, saving time and effort, and the advantages of having an MBA. There are many things to consider, but if you have the money to spend and you want to take such an MBA, then it's best for you to review some colleges before you start. Good luck and cheers!
