Can anyone recommend a distance learning art course?

I want to study art but can't go to an art college. Are there any good distance learning courses that people have done? If it has an edge like graphic design thats good too, but im mainly interested in painting. thanks Scott g for your insightful answer. i added you to my contacts list so we can keep in touch, i really feel you're the kind of guy i'd like to get to know.

  2. I'm not sure distance learning would really work for art. How about an evening class at night school? You'd have the bonus of meeting like minded people there too.

Open College of the Arts is reputable and offers various different art courses, including painting and photography -haven't time to check out whether it does graphic design at this moment, so have a look at the link yourself - I think it does some digital courses as well as traditional ones. I see University of Exeter does a distance learning graphic design course as well.
