  2. is through correspondence.it can be online,or you can mail your exams in to the school.i take a program with ashworth university,and thats how they do it.

Log onto www.wgu.edu It is for Western Governors University which is accredited and you can go at your own pace provided you make the minimum progress (I thought it was to my advantage to accelerate my learning.) I have my post-bacc in teaching and am very happy I found WGU. They have many other programs too. It was nice not to be tied into going to a certain location at a certain time...on-line was much more convenient. Good luck to you!
