I have a question about transfering schools and masters degrees......?

Right now, I am a junior in high school/freshman in college. I was accepted into a special program in which I take all college courses, but they go towards my high school diploma. I live on campus and everything, so its just like im a regular college student. When i graduate "high school" i will technically be just finishing my sophomore year in college. However, when i apply to the real "college" of my choice, I have to apply as an incoming freshman since i will have technically just graduated high school. Then, at the start of the second semester, I will be considered a junior. So, I am thinking about a degree in accounting, and I am definitely going for my masters. Is it advisable to stay at the school that I recieve my bachelors from? or is it ok to transfer for my masters?? Also, if any of you have advice for accounting, I would loveee the help :)

  1. 1. OK most important thing is the lvl of your accounting school. I am at UT and we are rank number 1 in the nation. And they won't let us join if we completed any of the pre-req for accounting degree and had to take little hour as possible in order to get in. 2. There are different type of accounting plan. In our school, we can declare major junior year and apply for the masters at the same time as undergraduate ( it goes with UT being #1). So its 6 yr program crammed into 5. Accounting...can't tell you 100%, but in business degree. They won't take you unless you have 3 years of job experience. Like..my degree is finance, and after 4 years, i ahve to work before i get my masters. IF you are planning for accounting program, it is in your best interest to work in the BEST FIRM AS POSSIBLE. Meaning, you should apply for the hardest and the most elite accouting program. Which...happend to be UT as of 2007-08 if it doesn't offer...i could graduate where you ever are..and go to masters at a prestigious place. on the side note....dude ...or lady..if you are going to be a junior your freshmen year...there is a black note that says graduating early in business is bad. SO think about it. If you have the time..you can double major or even triple if you have that many hours. The point is...graduate in 4 years and have a kick butt resume. good luck p.s: look into internship!
