Distance learning?

Hello all, I have finished my Bachelors degree.I plan on going for distance learning.Is it feasible?i.e are the credits transferrible?If i ever go for a job , will it add to my resume?Can you please suggest top best unis of the world for distance learning

  1. It can help out a lot...but make sure the school is legit. I would check with your local dept of ed as well as on the federal level to be on the safe side...A good rule of thumb is if they are a brick and morter school that has a long history in the education community then it is good.
  2. As a teacher I need to renew my certificate every four years. I do it through distance learning. Andrews University in Michigan is a good one. Check them out online.
  3. Distance learning is valid, and there are several very good universities offering distance learning programmes, including the best universities in the world (like Harvard, Stanford, Oxford). The question is what you want to learn and whether in this profession, distance learning is considered as a valid option.
