What is the difference between a Masters Degree in Business, and an MBA?

  2. They are one and the same generally speaking. An MBA stands for Masters of Business Administration.

There are some programs where you get a masters in business that is not an MBA - usually it is a shorter program and sometimes more concentrated in a specific subject area (ie: Accounting), whereas the MBA is a more general business degree. An MBA is a more prestigous degree and is preferred by some employers. They are not the same thing - one is an MS and one is an MBA. Either way - you can't go wrong, they are both good degrees to have!
  5. What you listed would be fairly similar. An MBA, or Masters in Business Administration, would be a specific Masters Degree in Business. There are also several other types of Masters Degrees such as a Masters of Science in Accounting, a Masters of Science in Taxation, and a Masters of Science in Finance. An MBA can be seen as being fairly broad, and a lot of students today are pursuing their MSA after getting their Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. It is a great field to get into right now, and something that will always be needed.
