What is the difference between a Masters Degree in Business, and an MBA?

- same thing
- They are one and the same generally speaking. An MBA stands for Masters of Business Administration.
- nothing... a MBA just means Masters Degree in Business Administration...same thing essentially
- There are some programs where you get a masters in business that is not an MBA - usually it is a shorter program and sometimes more concentrated in a specific subject area (ie: Accounting), whereas the MBA is a more general business degree. An MBA is a more prestigous degree and is preferred by some employers. They are not the same thing - one is an MS and one is an MBA. Either way - you can't go wrong, they are both good degrees to have!
- What you listed would be fairly similar. An MBA, or Masters in Business Administration, would be a specific Masters Degree in Business. There are also several other types of Masters Degrees such as a Masters of Science in Accounting, a Masters of Science in Taxation, and a Masters of Science in Finance. An MBA can be seen as being fairly broad, and a lot of students today are pursuing their MSA after getting their Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. It is a great field to get into right now, and something that will always be needed.
