How respected is a Bachelors & Masters Degrees in business at Full Sail in Orlando FL.?

I'm just wondering if I got a AA in the recording arts then a Bachelors degree in music business & then continue my education w/ a MBA in the entertainment business from a school like Full Sail in Orlando Fl. how would the industry or even just the general business world look at a graduate with these type of degrees coming from out a school like "Full Sail" would it be as legitamate as going to a university or another college?? I know the school is nationally accredited (not regionally) but what type of respect would i get being a Full Sail graduate w/ these type of degrees under my belt?? & how would employers view my education history?? I know I'mma have to work my *** off to make a success of myself, BUT will an Associates, bachelors & finally a Masters degree coming from out of Full Sail help me get my foot in the door? or even help me earn respect in such a competative industry?? *MOST IMPORTANTLY will employers in the industry or business world respect my degree? please help!!

  1. I visited their website. Look at the prerequisites for undergraduate admission. Their prerequisites are pretty low, compared to a conventional college. Look at their MBA program. A typical MBA program includes at least a couple of difficult courses in Econometrics and Corporate Finance. I didn't see that in their program. Maybe the entertainment business is different, but if you decide to get a conventional non-entertainment job ... I think by virtue of you asking this question, you know the answer.
  2. The degree programs at Full Sail are accredited by the US Department of Education, so any degree that you get from them is legit. As far as earning all your degrees from Full Sail, I would recommend that you earn your Master's degree from another school. I know many people who wish that they would have traveled to another school to get their graduate education. Not only does it allow you to experience another educational institution, but it moves you to a different part of the country where you will be able to meet new people. Any degrees or certificates that you earn will give you an edge in the industry you plan on working.
