I'm looking to study a masters qualification, does anyone know any good distance or online learning companies?
Thanks,

- try the open university or the national extension college.
- i am doing degree in economics and mathematical science at open university. I mast say it is hard, as you do it all on your own.
- try the open university www.open.ac.uk theyll also help with funding, and you get a grant every year of study if you qualify!
- Hey Dave, I do actually! I studied with this company called RDI, they work with loadsa different universities to offer degrees and masters qualifications. I did my degree with them and am now thinking of doing my MBA with them too! They do loadsa courses: * MBAs (3 from different unis!!) * MSc IT * MA Education * LLM Commercial Law * MSc International Hospitality Management * MA Marketing and Management * MA Finance, Accounting and Management I've just listed their masters quals here coz that's what you said you wanted but they do loadsa other stuff too! You should check out their website: http://www.rdi.co.uk You can apply online and even download your own personal prospectus, which I thought was pretty cool! Saves searching through the whole thing! Well, hope that helps! Good luck finding the right course! Billy
- Try Open University Dave - they don't do all masters courses but they do quite a few. Theyr'e really good with support too - I'm currently studying a psychology degree with them. http://www.open.ac.uk
- I would just like to confirm Billy's response to your question. RDI Ltd has great course materials and your route to the MBA with them will actually get you two qualifications: the MBA from the University of Sunderland and the BTEC National Postraduate Diploma in Management Studies awarded by Edexcel. RDI also puts you in touch with other distance learning students so that you can make contact and work together a little. Their people are also very committed to helping you with your studies. As I said, I endorse Billy's answer 100 percent!
- I have to agree with Billy and Halifaxed. I'm currently studying the DMS / MBA that Halifaxed discussed and I'm loving it so far! The staff at RDI are great, I was new to distance learning when I started and they have helped me so much! I've been doing it for 6 months now and I've learnt so much already! Also, I was a bit worried about financing my studies but RDI have these great instalment plans that help you spread your payments. I'd recommend them to anyone, you really ought to check out their website: http://www.rdi.co.uk
- There are many good places to choose from, because today many traditional universities (even reputable ones like Harvard or Oxford) offer distance learning courses. See e.g.: http://homemadedegrees.blogspot.com/search/label/masters%20degrees My first advice would be to check which universities are considered good (in general) in the topic you'd like to learn, and see whether one of them also offers it as distance learning. The second advice would be to prefer these regular universities, which also offer a master's course through distance learning and not something like University of Phoenix or Capella, which is less reputable. You can also search, adding the name of your discipline, here: http://www.google.com/custom?domains=homemadedegrees.blogspot.com&q=master%27s+degree+%22distance+learning%22+&sa=Search&sitesearch=&client=pub-2977208566521185&forid=1&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&cof=GALT%3A%23008000%3BGL%3A1%3BDIV%3A%23336699%3BVLC%3A663399%3BAH%3Acenter%3BBGC%3AFFFFFF%3BLBGC%3A336699%3BALC%3A0000FF%3BLC%3A0000FF%3BT%3A000000%3BGFNT%3A0000FF%3BGIMP%3A0000FF%3BFORID%3A1&hl=en
