Has anyone completed a MS degree in Psychology through the University of Phoenix distance learning program?

I have a BA in Psych and wish to complete my educaton by doing the Master's program in general psychology through the University of Phoenix distance learning. If anyone has done this I would appreciate any feedback. How has it made you more marketable? What kind of work are you currently doing with your MS in Psyc? How was your overall experience with UOP? Thank you in advance for any helpful comments and advice.

  1. I had a really bad experience with UOP. They lied to me on several occasions. Unfortunately, I took them at their word and enrolled. Later, while fact checking, I came across several instances when they had mislead me. I would really think twice.
  2. I haven't studied there, but I am not sure that Phoenix really raises your marketability (because of reputation problems). It might be also wise to look at other psychology programmes, and decide on a non-for-profit university (that is, unlike Phoenix, not interested first and foremost in profits, but is publicly supervised. http://homemadedegrees.blogspot.com/2007/08/psychology-can-you-get-degree-online.html
