Reputed online or distance-learning Master's degree programs from regular universities?

I'm interested in getting a Master's degree. I won't be able to attend grad school in person because of personal reasons, so I'm looking at online programs from respected and "regular" public or private universities (not DeVry, ITT, Univ. of Phoenix, etc. ). Do any of you have any recommendations on what universities' programs I should look at? I'm interested in pursuing an MS in the following subjects, so I would appreciate any relevant recommendations that you can make. - Computer Science (and related subjects, like information systems) - Math (all forms of it) - Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, and related subjects.

  2. First you need to figure out what you will study, your list is too broad for a masters. A masters degree is typically a focused study within one field, you will need to figure out what you want to study first and then you can begin to look for a program that will meet your needs. (There are many out there)
  3. Try the California State University system. I got my MBA TOTALLY online. You can look at their offerings at http://odp.csusuccess.org/ I checked out Duke and some of the higher end univeristies, but CSU was also more economical for me. Most classes were great, but some of the teams I was on had difficulties - on duty in Iraq, illness, etc. Only one difficult team member. The professors responded quickly online and were very good.
