Which programming language course is best to support my MCA degree thro' distance learning?

I'm pursuing my MCA degree through DL.I want to work as a programmer after i get my M.Sc degree in computer science after I complete 2 years.Plz suggest me which programming language course should I go for , so that I get a better practical experience & helps me get a job.

  1. I'll suggest the .NET platform. Get yourself certified,in which ever platform you are strong. Checkout various Microsoft, Sun, IBM etc certifications. It'll increase your chances of getting a job. Good luck!
  2. I would suggest C# (C Sharp) or Java. When you are doing your viva voce , you will be asked to take up some advanced language. You simply can't do a project in VB. C# or Java is a good choice in my humble opinion
  3. I suggest you learn java.
  4. I suggest you to learn C# and VB.net. If you learn java u hav to work only on that field. In Dotnet you have many areas and diff options to choose.
  5. I suggest you to learn C++, then C# with .Net .
