MBA distance learning?

I want to do MBA from Distance Learning. Symbiosis forms are not available. Don't want to do it from ICFAI or Manipal. Please suggest which is best international university in Australia, UK or Asia from where i can do Distance Learning MBA. Would be good to know their fee structure and entry criteria. It's already late in the year and i wo'nt be able to take GMAT or entrance test so direct enrollment would be preferrable.

  1. I suggest you don't do distance learning but go to school in a classroom setting. The classroom setting means more to employers. And, if you're not going to work for an employer then there is no need for an MBA.
  2. The University of North Texas can help! We offer almost 100 Undergraudate and more than 150 Graduate programs in a variety of fields. The application process for International students is pretty straightfoward. We require an application and application fee, proof of English proficiency (generally TOEFL), and official academic credentials in order to make an admissions decision. If you get admitted, we will require financial documents to issue the I-20, which is what you need to get your Visa to study in the USA. You can get more details about applying to UNT on our website: http://www.international.unt.edu/admissions/requirements/requirements.html Best wishes! 3. G'day, To be eligible for a Masters course in Australia, you will need to have the degree that deemed as equivalent to Australian Bachelor Degree. There are quite a few universities in Australia offering distance learning study for their MBA courses (such as Deakin University -www.deakin.edu.au- etc). I suggest that you use these online database to find out which universities: 1. Dept of Education, Science and Technology (http://cricos.dest.gov.au) 2. IDP Education Australia website (www.idp.edu.au). IDP is an organisation that gives information to international students who wants to continue their study in Australia. The information abt fees & requirements can be found in the university's website. Please make sure that you access the information for international students, since some requirements, application form and fees are different than Australians'. Once decided on the uni, fill in the application form and send it together with certified copy of your academic qualification. Depending on your country of origin, you may also need to submit an IELTS test results for proof of your English proficiency (www.ielts.org) Now... I am not sure that MBA is a suitable course for you. First of all, most MBA course requires minimum of 2 years work experience in managerial level. Second, if you have done a business course. MBA is actually created for ppl who do not have business background (eg, Engineer or Lawyers) but already got the work experience in managerial level. MBA course basically a fast-track business course where the students got the business course for abt 1-1.5yrs that usually given to undergraduate students for 3 yrs. MBA course is also a place where those managers exchanges ideas and experiences in real-life case studies. Therefore students who do not have work experiences before sometimes feel left-out. This brings me to somewhat agree with the first answerer. You may miss alot from the discussions and exchange of ideas from your fellow classmates. Of course the advantage is that you save some money by keep working and staying in your own place. If you have business background, you might consider a specialisation course, eg. Master in Accounting/Marketing. So this is to 'deepen' your knowledge. Hope this helps. Good luck on your study :)
  4. There are numerous schools you can choose from, including the Open University (IMHO your best choice), but you will have to do the research yourself, I don't think anyone would sit now for hours with a list of the business schools and check which one is the cheapest top ranking school that offers a fully online MBA and requires no GMAT. Still, this list could help: http://homemadedegrees.blogspot.com/2007/08/which-top-business-schools-offer.html Also see: http://www.google.com/custom?domains=homemadedegrees.blogspot.com&q=mba+distance+learning&sa=Search&sitesearch=homemadedegrees.blogspot.com&client=pub-2977208566521185&forid=1&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&cof=GALT%3A%23008000%3BGL%3A1%3BDIV%3A%23336699%3BVLC%3A663399%3BAH%3Acenter%3BBGC%3AFFFFFF%3BLBGC%3A336699%3BALC%3A0000FF%3BLC%3A0000FF%3BT%3A000000%3BGFNT%3A0000FF%3BGIMP%3A0000FF%3BFORID%3A1&hl=en http://www.google.com/custom?hl=en&safe=off&client=pub-2977208566521185&cof=FORID%3A1%3BGL%3A1%3BLBGC%3A336699%3BLC%3A%230000ff%3BVLC%3A%23663399%3BGFNT%3A%230000ff%3BGIMP%3A%230000ff%3BDIV%3A%23336699%3B&domains=homemadedegrees.blogspot.com&ie=ISO-8859-1&oe=ISO-8859-1&q=mba+distance+learning&btnG=Search&sitesearch=
