  1. An on line degree from a good university can be valuable. There are advantages and disadvantages. It is important to select a good school. There are many worthless on-line degrees, and you have to be careful to apply to a recognized university preferably with an accredited program. The advantage is not having to spend money living in a different town or a dorm, keeping a job if you have one, and studying at your own pace. The disadvantage is not having the college experience, social interaction with other students, close contact with professors. I don't know AIU so I cannot advise you about it. You should be able to find information about it on the Internet. Look for objective information not provided by the school, in addition to examining their own data
  2. Actually distance learning is appropriate for those who can't go that place or can't give more time in study.it's has a value. One can easily learn from house.
  3. Hello, I think they worth it,
  4. I'm in an on-line program with Ellis College/NYIT. I'm working on an MBA. It is expensive but I like it. I love the platform because it's very interactive and convenient. The instructors actually teach. I have heard from my instructor in this course I am taking that some on line schools only have the instructor facilitate (grade papers, etc) and not add anything to the course itself. The courses are developed by another group and the instructor is just there to guide. But with Ellis College, the instructors actually encourage discussions and add additional information based on their previous experience and their own expertise. It's wonderful. I take a new course every 6 weeks and it's tough because it's a lot of material to take in. I spend about 15-20 hours a week studying. But it's convenient to my work and home life. I am making good progress. I'm in my 4th class, almost finished with it, and I began in February.
