Law school questions (distance/night)?

Any suggestions on distance learning or evening law school programs in the Washington D.C. area - and that are eligible for federal financial aid?

  1. G'town has a part time program, and it's the highest ranked school in DC. I don't know about financial aid eligibility, but I see no reason why you wouldn't be eligible -- you'd just get reduced aid because of the part time status and what I assume is also income that you're getting when you're not at school. Look into American and George Washington as well -- they both have respectable law schools. From the perspective of a current traditional law student, distance learning for law school seems like a bad idea. So much has to do with constant interaction with classmates and professors, and you just can't replicate that with a distance learning program. Evening programs are fine if you can't do full time, but don't waste your time or your money with a distance learning program. (I don't even think there are any ABA-accredited ones, which means you'll have a really hard time passing the bar and an even harder time finding a job.)
