how can l know which universities in the usa the run accredited,highly recognised distance learning degrees?

In the same shoes you are... talk about HOURS of research... best bet is collegeboard.com, go to for students, then click college finder, then select your criteria (independant learning, wired, distance/correspondance, stuff along those lines) then click show me results. there will probably be some 400 schools that offer distance learning.... its actually been a great help to me :-) PS> don't forget to type in what kind of classes you want the school to offer, narrows down the search a bit.
  2. I think it is the Association of Universities is having the list of accreditted universities.Or check in any University Information Centre.
