I am a Diploma Engg.,want to complete BBA thru ICFAI distance learning to get a degree. Will this be helpful?
I am Diploma Engg., presently workin with a MNC for last 3yrs. I have realised, though late, that without getting a degree its very difficult to survive in any industry. At this stage thought to get a BE thru distance learning like YCMOU but then I find it too difficult to finish, so thought of doing BBA from ICFAI through distance learning. If I study hard and manage to complete BBA, I don't know that whether this will be helpful for me in future. I don't want to be in a situation that my degree is a waste. Also if I want to do some further study based on this degree abroad will it prove good.

- You have not mentioned about your residence city. If you are in Pune/Mumbai , I advise u to enroll for 3 year BCA of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune. If u have done diploma in comp sci/tech then you get direct admission to IInd year of this course. It saves you one year. No compulsary attendance. University is recognized by UGC. Another option is Mumbai Uni. distance edu.(www.mu.ac.in/dist_edu.html) They run BSc IT,MSc IT MCA. The only problem is they are very strict on attendance which is very hard for a working person. Another varsity is Sikkim Manipal Univer (www.manipalu.com). They run a number of degree courses. Their examinations r objective (not subjective that u have been facing in your education career). SMU is recognized by some foreign countries. YOU MUST CHECK AND CONFIRM THIS. I hope the aforesaid info may be useful to u. One suggestion : Choose a varsity in your home state/ city where you can reach in one day in case of emergency.
