can distance learning courses from a good college help?

- Depends on your learning style and work ethic. If you're a self-starter that doesn't need close human interaction to learn, then it may work for you. But if you require lots of face time (ie: time to ask questions, get clarification) and you are not motivated to do something unless it's right in front of you, I would think twice about it.
- If you can deal with the responsibility and level of dedication needed to do it all yourself distance courses are great. I took several for my Master's and it was worthwhile. Good Luck!
