Is the distance learning program for Central Texas College regionally or nationally credited?

  1. It is regionally accredited by SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) which is the standard. National accreditation by DETC or ACICS is generally considered to be not as good as regional accreditation. To the best of my knowledge, most program accreditations, such as AACSB and ABET are not done at the associates degree level. I might be wrong about this though.
