How to become a registered dietician (RD)?

Hi, I'm Roxanne. I love nutrition and helping people and already have a masters degree in biotechnology from Sweden. I live in Los Angeles now (got my greencard) and want to get into a program that isn't a waste of time, which I'm thinking the online degree programs are. Are there any accredited, respectable programs to become a registered dietician, certified (possibly clinical) nutritionist, etc. that will actually lead to a job afterwards since, after all, that's the goal.
