how can you tell which masters accounting degrees are better than others?

a friend of mine is looking at accounting graduate schools and there are a couple different degrees she can get and I want to know which are more respectable

  1. In general, you want to look for AACSB accreditation applicable for accounting programs. You can visit their website and get a list of these institutions. Beyond that, I would look into internship possibilities. See what schools have relationships with whom. Some are a lot better than others and this isn't really reflected in any kind of accreditation or survey.
