Masters/Doctoral Degrees in Humanistic or I/O Psych?
I'm having a hard time finding a good, reputable graduate school for Industrial/Organization psychology. I want to study that or Humanistic Theory, but primarily I/O Psychology. Can someone help me out with a list of colleges that have good programs for a masters and doctoral degree? Thanks so much!

- Check with the American Psychological Association - or, more specifically, check with the specific divisions of the APA: Division 14 is the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (http://www.siop.org) , and Division 32 is Humanistic Psychology (http://www.apa.org/divisions/div32) . Click around in those web sites - they both should have a section for students, and in that section you'll most likely find a list of graduate programs in the U.S. along with the specific degress (MA, PsyD, PhD) the programs award. The APA also publishes a book called "Graduate Study in Psychology," which they revise every year (find it in book stores, public libraries, university libraries, or order it online). This book has detailed listings of all the programs that offer psych degrees, including information on degrees awarded, accreditation, admissions stats, financial aid, and employment status of recent grads. Between the book and the web sites you'll quickly pull up a list of psych programs that are both reputable and appealing to you.
