I need to learn how to get organized for taking distance learning courses. Any suggestions? It has been 3 years since I took any academic college courses. I will be starting off with one graduate course so I can take things slowly and learn what will be expected of me next semester. I'd like to know how those in this situation get organized for distance learning. How do you plan for assignments, make time for reading, organize projects, etc?

Can anyone offer advice on Distance Learning courses on Primatology or Animal Behaviour/Management? I am in seach for a reputable provider of Long Distance courses on the above subjects. I have been led to believe Warnborough College has misrepresented itself to students and to the Department of Education as a degree-granting institution. Also Oxford Distance Learning College does not seem to be recognised as an Educational body. I am studying in a distance learning course and the lecturer is not willing to help? I am studying vb course in a distance learning course. My course tutor is an indian lady and she is very concerned about things like numbers of responses in the online forum. Whenever I ask her any questions, she would answer me why don't you post it in the forum because the reponses is quite low and things like that. I was in trouble doing the assignment and I emailed her for help. I asked her if she can tell me where the solutions are or at least which session of the chapter would help me better understand the question. She said I have to ask myself not her. When I come to ask her I found some pages that might be of help, and ask her if I am on the right track, she would say she does not know. Yesterday I am so frightened that one or two lines in my program does not turn out the right output, I tried to email her and ask her to point out the problem, she did not reply me. Do you think I should report this to the school? I think she does not know anything about vb. I was forwarn before because I post my question online. They said I try to get help from others without doing it by myself. Of course I need help but I am not asking for answers. I want them to explain but they did not help. What do you think about distance learning courses? Hi. I am undergraduate freshman in major Computer Science. I take 4 courses, from which 1 is DL. I go to a big university in Chicago, but live in suburbs. I commute to school M, W, F to take 3 courses from 9:40-1:00. Two courses requires lot of reading and so time. Also I have to after school go to fitness center (in my campus) to lost weight, decrease cholesterol (I was on blood test) and increase muscle mass and endurance. I expect to go there after classes for 1 -1:30 hour. I take train at 7:34 to downtown which takes 50 min and then 25 min subway to campus. I have to get up at least 6:30 to get to train station. Because I plan to work on T, Th and Sat to earn needed money for paying bills and buying food, I decided to take the fourth class in my major as distance learning instead on Tu, Th in middle of day in class. There was no class available early morning or evening. And taking class on M, W would be little too lot I think like 4 classes for day incl exercise. Besides there was ... no classes available during these days. Fridays not avaiable too. This class is IT The internet and web. It is basically designing websites and writting java script. easy class. So I took it as distance learning. For this I have not only book but also online connection.
